I like to make pixel dolls. Now I'm not particularly good at making bases, I know this and so I use the bases that catch my eye but I could never claim to be in the same league as , :iconMariii-Dolls: or . It's a hobby for me, a safe haven when I am too depressed to focus on more serious art (to me, I know the aforementioned take it seriously) but also it is a design tool where I can road test ideas.
It is with this in mind that I express my anger over the amount of traced bases I found while looking for tutorials and references to better my own work. This, in my eyes, is not art, it's THEFT. And the fact that these thieves would post them here on what I am led to believe is a legitimate forum for the art community.

If you can't do your own bases or at the very least try to do the bases of people who have put their hearts and souls into theirs, then you have no business being here.
